Andrenosterone, (AKA 11-OXO, AKA 11-Sterone) is a non-methylated designer steroid created by Ergopharm and has been widely cloned (11-test, 11-sterone etc). 11-OXO not only will assist with weight loss but it also positively impacts cortisol which has brings additional weight loss benefits. This is a mild compound the provides limited results when used alone.
In the interest of clarity, I'm not against stacking. I'm against pre-made stacks that don't use well thought out dosages or ingredients. Stacks of 3, 4, or even 5 prohormones (many of them methyls) move beyond the realm of irresponsible and into dangerous.
But it's a fact that some compounds complement each other. i still stand by knowing how each compound affects you individually before you use it in conjunction with something else.
I mention the above because 11-Sterone is pretty much always used as part of a stack, simply because it's so mild that when used alone the results can be very limited.
Whether taken stand alone or part of a stack, dosages recommendation is at 300mg daily. The recommended use here puts one at 150 - 255mg a day, just a bit short. At 4 caps a day, one bottle of 11-Sterone will provide only 18 days of doses. To run a 6 week cycle, you're need just over 2 bottles. A 5 week cycle can be run with 2, so that might be the more economical choice.
I'm not going to give stack recommendations (because I shy away from making specific recommendations), but you can read a some good info on stacking 11-Sterone on Tuned sports. See info links below...
1,4-androstadiene-3b,17b-dione (Boldione)Sold under the names EQ-Plex, EQ-Jet, Bold, 1,4AD
Additional nomenclature: androst-1,4-diene-3b,17b-dione
Common Dosages: 600mg to 1000 mg daily
Common Cycle Length: 6-10 Weeks
Half-Life: Long (10-12 hours)
Boldione is the precursor to boldenone, and as of January 4, 2010 is a Schedule III Controlled Substance. In 2004 the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2005 classified boldenone was classified as a controlled substance and boldione remained legal. Effective January 4, 2010 boldione was classified as Schedule III Controlled Substances and became illegal in the United States.
Boldione is advertised as a highly anabolic/androgenic compound promoting muscularity, enhancing strength and overall physical performance.
Boldione was a very popular compound and was considered excellent for beginners due to it's reputation for minimal side effects and non-methylated status making it liver friendly. Boldione produces decent results as well.
Boldione is most effective when in the 600 - 800mg range. More experienced users may experiment with dosages up to 1000mg range. Boldione works very slowly, with results appearing in weeks 4 or 5. As a result, Boldioneis typically run 6-8 weeks.
Boldione dosages should be split with one dosage in the morning and one around dinner. Ideally one dosage should be timed and taken 45 minutes prior to working out on training days.
Androst-4-ene-3,11,17-trione (Adrenosterone)Know as 11-OXO, 11-Sterone, 11-Test
Nomenclature: Adrenosterone (Androst-4-ene-3,11,17-trione
Common Dosages: 300mg to 900 mg daily.
Common Cycle Length: 5-9 Weeks.
Half-Life: Average (6-8 hours)
Adrenosterone is a steroid hormone with weak androgenic effect first isolated in 1936 from the adrenal cortex. Adrenosterone occurs in trace amounts in humans as well as most mammals and in larger amounts in fish, where it is a precursor to the primary androgen, 11-ketotestosterone. Adrenosterone has shown to be converted into 11-ketotestosterone in humans, which contributes to adrenosterone's androgenic effects.
11-Keto-androstenedione or 11-keto-androstenetrione are also trade names for this hormone, while the correct name would be androst-4-ene-3,11,17-trione.
Adrenosterone's main action is it lowers cortisol levels. Cortisol is the main catabolic (muscle-eating) hormone and it also promotes fat gain. Cortisol and testosterone also work in an inverse relationship, so high cortisol levels lower testosterone. Adrenosterone acts as a competitive inhibitor, preventing cortisone from attaching to the 11b-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type I reductase. By competing at the receptor, it keeps cortisone from attaching and converting to cortisol through the enzyme. Andrenosterone is found naturally in the body and is released by the adrenal glands. The body uses it as a way to help regulate cortisol levels.
